One of the most difficult parts of any fitness journey is changing the way you think about food. Cutting certain foods out of your diet and incorporating new ones is a challenge for many people, so don't feel alone if you also struggle with this. This week's Healthier You recipe is for cookie dough overnight oats. Sounds good, right? We like to add our AstroFlav protein to the oat mix for an extra protein boost. We hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Cookie Dough Overnight Oats
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup cashew butter
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 scoops AstroFlav IsoMix Whey Protein Isolate in Vanilla
1/4 cup chocolate chips
cashew butter, chocolate chips, cashews (optional - for topping)
1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well-combined.
2. Seal the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place in the fridge for up to 10 hours. If you are making this for breakfast, you can whip up the ingredients before bed, leave in the fridge overnight, and eat it in the morning.
3. Remove from the fridge and add optional toppings.
4. Enjoy your healthy treat!
