Aromatherapy is the act of inhaling diffused essential oils to promote relaxation. It is quite simple: all you need is a bottle of your favorite essential oil, an aromatherapy diffuser and water. Simply fill your diffuser with water, to dilute the essential oil, and drop 5-10 drops of the essential oil into the water. Turn your diffuser on, then breathe deeply to maximize relaxation results.
If you experience short bursts of stress and tension, aromatherapy might be a perfect solution to help you unwind and relax. It is important to note that essential oils are not FDA regulated and they do not replace the need to be treated by a doctor for mental health issues, such as prolonged anxiety.
