Q&A

When I was 23 years old, I made a decision to get sober, it was basically a life or decision for me. I was lucky enough to connect with a few guys who were competitive athletes and took me under their wing. I dove deep into the sport of Muay Thai, that was a little over 20 years ago and I haven't looked back. I am still in recovery and have now competed in a number of sports.. Fitness saved my life then and continues to save my life on a daily basis.

That lifting heavy weights will out of no where make you big and bulky… It is SOOOOO hard to get big and bulky, in order to get big and bulky you would have to lift weights for years and eat in an enormous surplus for the body/muscles to grow… If it were only that easy.. haha

Fitness for me is a non-negotiable. I make it work, I get up and into the gym most mornings at 5:30am so that I don't have to sacrifice other areas of my life for training. If I didn't do it early in the morning, would be tough, especially as a father, husband and business owner.

My go-to cheat meal is honestly dinner at an Italian restaurant where nothing on the menu is off limits, followed by a double or triple scoop of real ice cream!
