You honestly can't beat the flavor combination of peanut butter and Oreos! No-bake Cookies & Cream Protein Rice Krispy are on the AstroFlav Healthier You recipe for today! These crunchy protein squares have only five ingredients and highlight one of our newest IsoMix flavors, Cookies & Cream. What's better than a flavorful, protein-filled post-workout snack? We hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
4-5 rice cakes (I used Lundberg)
1 scoop AstroFlav Cookies & Cream IsoMix
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey (or maple syrup)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3-4 crushed Oreos
Place rice cakes into a gallon size zip lock back and crush bag until rice cakes are crushed into little pieces.
Place crushed rice cakes into a large bowl.
Add in 1 scoop of Cookies & Cream protein powder.
Meanwhile, melt peanut butter in a microwave safe dish for 20 seconds until room temperature.
Add peanut butter and honey into the rice cake mixture. Stir until powder and rice cakes are well combined.
Prepare a 9 x 9 square pan by placing parchment paper into the pan to avoid mixture from sticking.
Pour mixture into the pan and begin to flatten mixture with hands or a large spoon. Place in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. Make sure not to burnt the chocolate!
Remove rice cake bars from the refrigerator. Pour melted chocolate over the protein bars and spread evenly over the top.
Crush 3-4 Oreos and sprinkle on top!

Recipe notes:
To reduce sugar, SF maple syrup works just as well.
To add more protein, add 1 more scoop. May have to add more peanut butter & honey to get perfect consistency.

Not at all! Oreos are great for decor and add a sweet, yummy treat on top!
Protein bars are best kept in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy. The chocolate may be quick to melt if let out too long!
