Healthier You: Neapolitan Protein Popsicles

Neapolitan Protein Popsicles

ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

  • Greek yogurt - I used non-fat plain Greek yogurt. Vanilla and strawberry Greek yogurt would work as well.

  • AstroFlav Chocolate IsoMix - One of our best-selling protein powders, perfect for the chocolate layer of Neapolitan.

  • AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix - A sweet Vanilla protein powder, perfect for the vanilla layer of Neapolitan.

  • AstroFlav Strawberry IsoMix- The best Strawberry IsoMix out there! Brings the Neapolitan flavors to full circle.

  • Fairlife Fat Free milk - I used fat free milk for this recipe. Almond milk or any other milk would work just as well!


KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR THIS RECIPE

  • 3 mixing bowls

  • Popsicle molds

TIPS FOR CREATING PROTEIN POPSICLES

  • Stir Greek yogurt and protein powder until smooth consistency, with no clumps.

  • If mixture is too thin, add in a bit more Greek yogurt to thicken the consistency.

  • Allow for at least 30 minutes to freeze each section so flavors don't mix together!

  • Run popsicle mold under room temperature water to loosen up the popsicles for an easier removal.

  • Fill popsicle molds all the way to the top to make the sticks easier to remove.

Neapolitan Protein Popsicles


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1 scoop AstroFlav Chocolate IsoMix

  • 1 scoop AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix

  • 1 scoop AstroFlav Strawberry IsoMix

  • ¾ -1 cup milk of choice

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Prepare three small bowl by scooping about ⅓-½ cup of Greek yogurt into each bowl.

  2. Add ½ scoop of Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry protein powder into each separate bowl.

  3. Pour in about ¼ cup of milk into each bowl. Mix until clumps are gone, creating a smooth consistency.

  4. Using a small spoon, scoop Strawberry mixture into the bottom of each popsicle mold. Freeze for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Remove from freezer and scoop in Vanilla mixture on top of the Strawberry. Freeze for at least 30 minutes.

  6. Repeat the same process with the Chocolate mixture and freeze entire recipe for at least 2 hours or until completely frozen.

  7. When ready to enjoy, remove from freezer and run the popsicle molds under room temperature water up to 30 seconds.

  8. Remove from popsicle molds and enjoy!

Substitutes:

  • Fat free milk: Can use almond milk, dairy milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.

  • Greek yogurt: Can sub for dairy-free, lactose, or almond-based yogurt.
