No Bake Protein Blondie Bars

ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE:

  • Oats - Oats help with the texture and keep the consistency together, while also providing healthy carbs and fibers.  

  • Rice Krispies cereal - Make this recipe crispy and crunchy. You can also use without; bars won't be crunchy but chewy.

  • AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix - Vanilla creates the blondie flavor notes. This recipe can also be used with any of our other protein powder flavors.

  • Peanut butter - Creates a tasty, nutty protein bar flavor. Cashew butter and almond butter can also be used.

  • Honey - Any liquid sweetener will work for this recipe; however, honey will help stick the ingredients together much better.

  • White Chocolate Chips - Also creates a blondie flavor by combining white chocolate with vanilla flavors.

  • Chopped peanuts

  • Medium sized mixing bowl

  • Square brownie pan

How long do blondies last?

These blondies are best stored in the fridge. Refrigerated in an airtight container up to three weeks. You can also store leftover blondies in a freezer-safe container and freeze it for up to three months.

Can you use plant-based protein powder for this recipe?

This recipe can be enjoyed just as well with a plant based protein powder. You can try our VeganMix Vanilla!

Can you make this recipe with other nut butters?

Yes! Almond butter and cashew butter can also be used! Peanut butter creates more of a peanut-taste; however, others are just as tasty!

Can you make this recipe without coconut oil?

To make this recipe without coconut oil, you will need to add in additional nut butter.

TIP : Make sure to mix all ingredients until all dry ingredients are mixed in. If the texture is t moist enough, mixture will crumble to pieces.

No Bake Protein Blondie Bars


INGREDIENTS:  

  • 1 cup oats (80 g)

  • 1 1/2 cup Rice Krispies cereal (60 g)

  • 1 scoop AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix

  • 2/3 cup peanut butter (250 g)

  • 1/4 cup honey (40 g)

  • 1 cup melted white chocolate chips

  • Sprinkle of chopped peanuts

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a medium size bowl, add all dry ingredients: oats, rice cereal, & protein powder. Mix until well combined.

  2. Next add wet ingredients: peanut butter & honey.

  3. Mix until all ingredients are mixed together with no dry or powder visible. You may have to mix and knead with your hands.

  4. Transfer mixture onto a prepared square dish. Push down mixture until flat and even on top.  

  5. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 second intervals.

  6. Layer on top and evenly spread across the bar mixture.

  7. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and chill in refrigerator at least an hour. Cut into squares when ready to be enjoyed!

Substitutes:

  • Rice Krispies cereal: Any other puffed rice cereal will work for this recipe!

  • Peanut butter: Can also swap for cashew or almond butter.

  • Honey: Swap honey for maple syrup or date syrup.

  • White chocolate chips: Swap white chocolate chips for milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate chips.
