Healthier You: Salted Peanut Butter Protein Oat Bars

Calling all peanut butter lovers for this week's recipe! Salted Peanut Butter Protein Bars are just what you need for a mouth-watering sweet treat. This week's Healthier You recipe is definitely one of the gooiest desserts we have created! Filled with protein AND gluten-free, these salted peanut butter bar are going to be a crowd pleaser. We hope you love this nutty recipe as much as we do!
Salted Peanut Butter Protein Oat Bars
INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
½ cup melted butter*
½ cup natural peanut butter
½ cup coconut sugar**
1¼ cup almond flour
½ cup gluten free quick oats
1 scoop AstroFlav Peanut Butter Cake protein powder
1½ tsp baking powder
¾ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add the wet ingredients: eggs, butter, peanut butter, & coconut sugar.

Next combine the dry ingredients: almond flour, oats
protein powder & baking powder. Mix until well combine. Then fold in dark chocolate chips.
Spread the batter into prepared 8x8 pan and bake for 20-23 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool before slicing and enjoy!
Recipe notes:
Tip: Spray parchment paper with cooking spray to avoid batter from sticking!
* Can sub two flax eggs for vegan
** Can sub butter for melted coconut oil
