Rumor has it that your swolemate would rather have these protein rice krispy hearts instead of a box of chocolates this year. Good news! We have prepared you for Valentine's Day with this week's Healthier You recipe: Strawberry Protein Rice Krispy Hearts.These protein rice krispies have almost 4 grams of protein per heart and highlight our newest IsoMix flavor, Strawberry! Not to mention, the heart shape rice krispies are perfect for your gym-rat Valentine! We hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
3 TBS butter
10 oz bag marshmallows
2-3 scoops AstroFlav Strawberry protein
3 cups Rice Krispy cereal
Valentines sprinkles
In a medium sized pot, melt butter on low heat until fully melted.
Add in marshmallows and stir until smooth and all the lumps are gone.
Remove from heat and add in protein powder. Stir until very smooth (work quickly as the marshmallows will begin to harden).
Add Rice Krispies in and stir until well combined and cereal is covered.
Spray a heart shaped muffin tray with nonstick cooking spray (so the marshmallow texture doesn't stick) and equally divide Rice Krispies into each tin.
Push down with hands or metal spoon to flatten & add Valentine's sprinkles on top!

Recipe notes:
Tip: Spray the back of a metal spoon to press down on Rice Krispies to avoid stickiness.
