Witches Brew Protein Ice Cream

ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

AstroFlav Vanilla Protein Powder - To replace some of the flour (and carbs) in this recipe for a slightly lower carb donut.
Almond Milk: Or any other reduced fat milk; best when used at room temperature.
Green food coloring (optional): Completely optional, but the green will bring together the Witches Brew theme
1 mini Snickers
1 mini Twix

TIPS FOR CREATING PROTEIN ICE CREAM

Be careful to not over-mix the batter! Make sure to gently fold the dry mix so avoid a dense consistency.
Be sure to grease the donut pan very well to avoid sticking after baking.
Make sure your mixture has enough moisture in it. If consistency is too dry, add a bit more almond milk.
Let donuts cool slightly before adding cinnamon sugar topping.
Keep donuts in an airtight container at room temperature or the fridge.
Donuts will last about 5 days in the fridge and 2-3 days on the countertop.

Witches Brew Protein Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:

8oz unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix
6 drops green food coloring (optional)
1 mini Snickers (finely chopped)
1 mini Twix (finely chopped)

DIRECTIONS:

Add almond milk, protein powder, and SF pudding mix into Creami container.
Whisk together until smooth (I used a milk frother).
Freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
Remove pint from the freezer and place in Ninja Creami.
Hit "Light Ice Cream," let it spin and remove.
Create a small hole in the center of the ice cream and add 2 TBS almond milk into the mixture.
Hit "Respin" and then remove again. Repeat cycle 2 times.
Create small hole in the center of the ice cream and add half of the chopped candy into the whole. Select "Mix" and let it spin again.
Top with remaining candy!

Substitutes:

Almond milk - Any low fat milk of choice
Vanilla IsoMix - Chocolate PB or Chocolate would taste just as great in the recipe!
Snickers & Twix - Alternative lower sugar chocolate candy
