Whether you're craving a post-workout pick-me-up or simply in need of a wholesome treat, these bites are sure to hit the spot. Get ready to whip up a batch of goodness that will keep you energized and satisfied throughout the day!
Protein Powder – AstroFlav Cookies & Cream works perfect for this recipe to give the best Oreo taste!
Oats - I used quick oats, but you can also use old fashioned oats.
Honey - Adds natural sweetness to the recipe.
Peanut butter - Adds a sticky texture to help bind together all ingredients.
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Crushed Oreos
Use quick oats or rolled oats. Do not use steel-cut oats
Sweetener: honey, agave, maple syrup, or any other sticky sweetener
Peanut butter: any other nut butter will do the job. Try almond or cashew butter.
Place leftovers in a container and store in the fridge for up to 14 days. Keep an eye on them because they will tend to start drying out.
Enjoy cold when ready to eat.
You can freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge.
For a vegan-friendly option, use plant-based protein, and maple syrup.
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup no-stir peanut butter
2-3 TBS honey
1 scoop AstroFlavCookies & Cream IsoMix
2-3 crushed Oreos
In a large mixing bowl, stir together oats, protein, and any additional Oreos you may need.
Next, add in the peanut butter and honey and mix to combine. You may want to use your hands to mix or a handheld mixer until well combined.
If the mixture is too dry, add in more peanut butter until a firm, but sticky texture is created.
Separate evenly into 8 bite sized balls. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour before adding toppings.
Remove from refrigerator and drizzle melted chocolate and sprinkle the crushed Oreos on top!
