Healthier You: Cosmic Brownie Protein Bars

What's better than a brownie recipe that is super fudgy, low in carb, and high in protein? Cosmic Brownie Protein Bars are on the Healthier You recipe today and it's safe to say these guys might be better than the originals from Little Debbie. These brownies have minimal ingredients and highlight our best-tasting Chocolate protein powder to make the most chocolatey treat!

Cosmic Brownie Protein Bars
INGREDIENTS:
Wet Ingredients
2 eggs
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup melted coconut oil

1/2 cup almond butter
Dry Ingredients
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup cacao powder (or baking cocoa)
1 scoop AstroFlav Chocolate protein powder
Rainbow sprinkles (for topping)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350° and lightly grease a 9 x 9-inch brownie pan with cooking spray.
In a medium sized bowl, add wet ingredients: eggs, maple syrup, coconut oil, & almond butter. Stir or whisk until well combined.
Add dry ingredients to mixture: almond flour, cacao powder, & protein powder. Stir until well combined.
Add the batter into prepared brownie pan. Smooth top with spatula until evenly distributed.
Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes.
Remove brownies from oven and immediately sprinkle sprinkles on top (so they stick)!
Let cool & enjoy!

Recipe notes:
If the batter seems too thick, simply add a few tablespoons of almond milk to thin it out some.
If you are vegan, swap the egg with a flax egg and use our VeganMix plant based protein!
