Healthier You: Astro Amino Ice Pops


 One of the most difficult parts of any fitness journey is changing your mindset around food. Cutting certain foods out  and incorporating new ones into your diet can be challenging for many people, and that's okay! Here at AstroFlav, we want to help you along your fitness journey by providing you with delicious (and healthy) recipes that will keep you dedicated to your fitness journey while allowing you to enjoy what you eat.

This week's Healthier You recipe is for a fun, icy sweet treat!  These BCAA & EAA ice pops are perfect for a hot summer day. Not to mention they are loaded with electrolytes to replenish after a summer training session! This recipe highlights our best selling Astro Aminos that are available in 7 tasty flavors. We hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Astro amino ice pops

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10-14 oz water 
  • 1 rounded scoop Astro Amino
  • 1 cup cut up & sliced fruit of choice (we did strawberries & kiwis)

    • DIRECTIONS:

    1. Add one scoop Astro Aminos into cup or shaker bottle filled with water and stir or mix until fully dissolved 
    2. Slice up fruit of choice into small chunks 
    3. Fill popsicle trays with Amino water mix
    4. Plop the cut up fruit into the mix (as much as you desire) and place in freezer overnight or until frozen!
