One of the most difficult parts of any fitness journey is changing the way you think about food. Cutting certain foods out of your diet and incorporating new ones is a challenge for many people, so don't feel alone if you also struggle with this. Here at AstroFlav we want to help you along your fitness journey by providing you with delicious (and healthy) recipes that will keep you dedicated to your fitness journey while allowing you to enjoy what you eat. This week's Healthier Yourecipe for Healthy Protein Powder Cookie Dough is adapted from foodfaithfitness.com. We like to use our IsoMix Whey Protein Isolate protein powder in French Vanilla for a delicious protein boost. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Healthy Protein Powder Cookie Dough

Ingredients:

5 Tbsp AstroFlav IsoMix Whey Protein Isolate in French Vanilla

1 Tbsp coconut flour

Pinch of sea salt

2 Tbsp + 2 tsp unsweetened applesauce

1 tsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk (optional but recommended)

1/4 tsp butter extract (optional but recommended)

1/2 Tbsp dairy free mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the protein, coconut flour and sea salt.

2. Add the applesauce, almond milk and butter extract to the bowl and stir to combine.

3. Once the mixture is fully combined, add the chocolate chips and any other ad-ins you would like (such as nuts or dried fruit).

4. You can enjoy the cookie dough right away or chill in the fridge for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
