Healthier You: Peanut Butter Protein Cookies

Oh boy, double the peanut butter... For all my peanut butter lovers out there, this recipe is for you! This week's Healthier You recipe calls for Peanut Butter Protein Cookies! Our new IsoMix, "Peanut Butter Cake" has this recipe tasting twice as good with double the peanut butter! The best part about this recipe is that it calls for minimal and simple ingredients that create a healthy treat. We hope you love this recipe just as much as we do!

Peanut Butter Protein Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup quick oats (or old-fashioned blended)
2 Scoops AstroFlav Peanut Butter Cake protein powder
1/2 Cup peanut butter
1/4 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350°.
In a small bowl, mix dry ingredients: oats & protein powder. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together wet ingredients: peanut butter, apple sauce, and maple syrup.
Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix until cookie dough texture.
Use a cookie scooper or spoon to roll out 2" balls.
Align on a cookie sheet and press the dough down with a fork horizontally and vertically.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Check frequently so cookies don't burn!
