ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

  • AstroFlav Cookies & Cream IsoMix: Brings out sweetness and Oreo flavor in this ice cream recipe.

  • Almond Milk: Or any other plant-based milk. You can also use fat free or 1% dairy milk!

  • Sugar-Free Vanilla Pudding Jello Mix: Makes for a smoother recipe and adds additional sweetness for low calories.

  • Peppermint Extract: Optional, but enhances the mint flavor.

  • Green Food Coloring (optional): Completely optional, but the green will bring together the Witches Brew theme

  • Chocolate Chips

  • Optional: Mint Oreos

  • Can I make this recipe with dairy milk? Of course! I recommend Fairlife 1% or Fat Free!

  • Do I have to add green food coloring? No, you do not have to! Green food coloring makes this a St. Patty's day festive dessert!


Mint Oreo Protein Ice Cream


INGREDIENTS:  

  • 8oz unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 scoop AstroFlav Cookies & Cream IsoMix

  • 1 TBS sugar-free vanilla Jello pudding mix

  • 10 drops green food coloring (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract

  • 3-4 TBS semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Optional: 1-2 mint Oreos

DIRECTIONS:

  • Add almond milk, protein powder, SF pudding mix, food coloring, and peppermint extract into Creami container.

  • Whisk together until smooth (I used a milk frother).

  • Freeze for 8 hours or overnight.

  • Remove pint from the freezer and place in Ninja Creami.

  • Hit "Light Ice Cream," let it spin and remove.

  • Create a small hole in the center of the ice cream and add 2 TBS almond milk into the mixture.

  • Hit "Respin" and then remove again. Repeat cycle 2 times.

  • Create small hole in the center of the ice cream and add chocolate chips. Select "Mix" and let it spin again.

  • Top with remaining candy!


Substitutes:

  • Almond milk - Any low fat milk of choice

  • Cookies & Cream IsoMix - Can swap for Vegan Chocolate or put your own twist on it with Chocolate PB IsoMix

  • Mint Oreos - Any other cookie or candy of choice!
