The tasty combination of chocolate and peanut butter has just been changed up with extra protein added! Protein Peanut Butter Cups are perfect for that post-meal sweet tooth. Highlighting AstroFlav's Chocolate PB protein powder, this recipe is made with only 4 ingredients!
Peanut butter - Can also sub with cashew butter or almond butter.
AstroFlav Chocolate PB IsoMix - The chocolate peanut butter combination doubles with this protein powder.
Coconut oil - Helps the chocolate chips melt and also forms a solid fudge base.
Chocolate chips - For a sweeter fudge, you can use sweetened chocolate chips. I used stevia-sweetened chocolate chips for this recipe.

How long do these protein cups last?
Refrigerated in an airtight container, protein cups will last up to three weeks. You can also store in a freezer-safe container and freeze it for up to three months.
Can you use plant-based protein powder for this recipe?
This recipe can be enjoyed just as well with a plant based protein powder. Consistency may come out a bit grainer; you will just need a bit more peanut butter.
Can you make this recipe with other nut butters?
Yes! Almond butter and sunflower works just as well! Peanut butter creates more of a Reese's taste.
Can you make this recipe without coconut oil?
You can swap coconut oil for any other oil or butter.
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 scoop AstroFlav Chocolate PB IsoMix
1-2 TBS melted coconut oil
1 1/2 cup melted chocolate chips
Place 6 paper liners in the wells of a muffin tin and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the protein powder and peanut butter until smooth, but dough-like texture.
Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until completely melted.
Place approximately 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate in the bottom of each liner. Place the muffin tin in the freezer for 10 minutes or until chocolate is set.
Place about a tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer. Cover with melted chocolate.
Place back in freezer and chill until firm.
Store in refrigerator or freezer until ready to be served!
