Reese's Pieces Protein Ice Cream

ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

Almond milk - I used unsweetened Vanilla almond milk for this recipe. Fairlife 2% is another great option for a milk base.
AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix - Gives the ice cream a sweet Vanilla taste to help balance the peanut butter.
AstroFlav Peanut Butter Cake IsoMix - AstroFlav's tasty PB protein powder to make this recipe taste like an actual PB cup.
Peanut butter powder - Extra peanut butter never hurt! PB powder adds more peanut butter flavor and additional protein per serving.
SF Jello pudding mix - Helps thicken consistency of this recipe and adds additional sweetness.
Zero-calorie sweetener - I used Splenda zero-calorie sugar for this recipe. Makes the ice cream sweeter and mixes very well!

TIPS FOR CREATING PROTEIN ICE CREAM

Prep in advance. Freeze for at least 12 hours. For best results, allow mixture to freeze overnight or for 24 hours.
Additional Re-spins. Depending on how you like your ice cream, you might need an additional 1-2 re-spins. If you like your ice cream more like soft serve, you can re-spin 2-3 times before adding in your mix ins.
Don’t overfill the container. Be sure to only fill the container to right below the max fill line. The ice cream will expand in volume as your re-spin so don’t worry if it looks like the pint isn’t initially full.
Not a quiet process. Just a heads up, the Creami is loud when spinning. It’s similar to a high-speed blender so just a fair warning so you can plan your spin time accordingly!

Reese's Pieces Protein Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:

225 mL unsweetened Vanilla almond milk
15g AstroFlav Vanilla IsoMix
15g AstroFlav PB Cake IsoMix
1 TBS PB powder (I used PBFit)
1 TBS zero-calorie sweetener
5g SF Jello pudding mix (white chocolate)
1 serving Reese's Pieces

DIRECTIONS:

Add all the base ingredients to an empty Ninja Creami pint and use a milk frother to combine until clumps are dissolved.
Freeze for at least 12 hours. For best results, allow mixture to freeze overnight or for 24 hours.
Take out and run through the Lite Ice Cream cycle once. Then make a well in the center of the ice cream and add the 1-2 Tbsp almond milk and Reese's Pieces.
Run through the re-spin option on the Creami.
Top with more Reese’s Pieces if desired and enjoy!

Substitutes:

Almond milk: Can substitute almond milk with dairy milk, coconut, soy, or oat milk.
Peanut butter powder: You could replace with peanut butter, just note that will change the nutrition.
Reese's Pieces: sub for Reese's minis or 1 regular Reese's cup.
