Salted Caramel Protein Brownies
ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
Almond flour: I have not tried this recipe with a different flour; however, oat flour should work just as well.
Chocolate Protein Powder: Chocolate Isomix to make for fudgy brownie flavor.
Cocoa powder: Baking cocoa powder or cacao powder to enhance the chocolate flavor.
Almond butter: Can also sub for peanut butter or coconut oil.
Unsweetened apple sauce: Sweetens the recipe and replaces the butter in other recipes.
Light brown sugar: I used Splenda brown sugar, but can also use light brown sugar or regular.
Honey: Sweetens the brownies with only 2 TBS!
Egg: Essential to help bind all the ingredients together and gives the brownies some rise and chewy texture.
Caramel flavored chocolate chips: I used Lily's Stevia sweetened caramel chocolate chips & Tollhouse Caramel chocolate chips.

TIPS FOR CREATING PROTEIN BROWNIES
Try to not over-bake these brownies as they will continue to cook as they are cooling down.
Oven temperature is just an estimation; start checking around the 20-minute mark, then in 2-minute increments.
Chocolate PB IsoMix would also taste very good in this recipe. You can also swap almond butter with peanut butter!
You may have to add in more apple sauce or a splash of milk to make batter thick and not too dry.
